 NCA High School Open National Championship

Due to an overwhelming number of schools that are prohibited from, or have a general concern regarding, competing on Sunday, the NCA High School Open National Championship will run all performances - prelims and finals, along with all game time performances - on Saturday. As a reminder, Game Time divisions compete one time; Traditional performances still have a prelims and finals, and both will take place on Saturday.
After much discussion and thoughtful consideration, we believe this will allow for a more memorable and exciting competition experience, and provide for a more level playing field and consistency of scoring. In addition, this will eliminate the Sunday admission fees for spectators, and may also help minimize travel expenses for those teams that may no longer require a Saturday night hotel stay.
Over the next two weeks, as registrations are received, we will review and evaluate the number of teams registered in each division, and subsequently may combine divisions to ensure fair and reasonable competition.
We look forward to this inaugural championship, and can't wait to see you there!
